Who is the Lead Pastor?
Lake Mead Baptist is under the leadership of Pastor David Carothers.
What is Lake Mead Baptist like?
Lake Mead Baptist has been located in the Moapa Valley since 1985. We are one of the only Southern Baptist churches in the area. Our church's statement of faith is the Baptist Faith and Message of 1963. Click Our Beliefs to learn more.
While our church tradition is Baptist, we welcome all Christians from varieties of traditions who would like to join us for worship! We are a small country church and our worship style is traditional but with a mixture of modern hymns along with contemporary praise songs. Our Pastor preaches out of the NASB translation of the Bible but any translation is welcome in our Bible studies and services.
We hold our Communion Service on the first Sunday of every month and have a Potluck following worship service on the third Sunday of every month.
Are there services for children and youth?
Nursery care is provided for young children during our Sunday morning worship service. We also provide children's church for those children who are too old for the nursery, but not quite old enough to sit through the sermon. We also have Sunday school classes for all age groups.
